What types of rooms does Hatfield Studios offer?
Hatfield Studios offers a variety of fully furnished studio‑type rooms including “Paraplegic”, “Deluxe”, and “Premium” studios. Each studio has its own kitchenette, ensuite bathroom, built‑in cupboard/wardrobe, and basic furniture (bed & mattress, study desk, chair, etc.)
What’s included in the monthly rent?
The rent covers uncapped Wi‑Fi, water, a number of laundry tokens per month (e.g. 16 laundry tokens), and a fixed monthly electricity allowance (with extra electricity prepaid if you exceed the allowance).
Are there additional fees besides rent?
Yes. There’s a non‑refundable booking/administration fee (payable once or via instalments) when applying, this fee is required before moving in. Also, optional extras may apply (for example, parking may come at an extra monthly cost).
What communal facilities and amenities does Hatfield Studios offer?
Hatfield Studios includes features such as 24/7 security + CCTV, backup power and water, secure / undercover parking, study hubs, computer labs, games rooms, a gym or sports courts, communal recreational areas, and more, offering a full student‑living experience.
What happens if the amount covered by bursary or NSFAS is less than the rent?
In that case, a “top‑up” is payable by the student to cover the difference between the bursary/NSFAS payment and the actual monthly rent.
